Euclid Heights Neighborhood Association Bylaws

Article I: Name
The name of the organization is Euclid Heights Neighborhood Association (EHNA).
Article II: Purpose
The purpose of the Association is to encourage and promote community pride in the Euclid Heights area. Increasing the appeal of living in the Euclid Heights neighborhood with projects designed for safety, beautification, and sense of belonging for all residents is at the heart of this stated purpose. This area is bounded on the north by 62nd Ave N. (north side only), on the south by 46th Ave N. (north side only), on the east by 9th/Dr MLK Jr St N (west side only), and on the west by 16th St N (east side only).
Article III: Membership
Any adult property owner, tenant, or resident of the Euclid Heights area is eligible to become an active member. A membership card will be issued to each household that becomes a member. This card will extend membership to all adults of the same residence and will include only one vote per household.
Article IV: Dues
Annual dues are $15 per household and are due on January 1st of each year. Dues will not be prorated.
Article V: Elections
At each September general meeting nominations for officers and board members will be taken. At the general meeting in November, a vote will be taken and officers and board members will be installed to serve for one calendar year. Nominees must be residents and members in good standing.
Article VI: Officers/Board Members
The EHNA will be ruled by a minimum of 3 officers-President, Secretary and Treasurer and may also include committee chairpersons for membership, website, beautification, welcoming, events, and newsletter. Thus the full Board of Directors may consist of between 3 and 9 members. Duties for these positions are as follows:
President-run general and board meetings
Secretary-record minutes at general and board meetings and send out meeting reminders
Treasurer-manage the organizations funds and bank account
Membership-increase membership throughout the year and keep contact list of entire organization
Website-update, manage and maintain website (www.EuclidHeights.org)
Beautification-identify homes to be showcased and organize neighborhood clean ups
Welcoming-welcome new neighbors to Euclid Heights
Events-plan events to bring the community together
Newsletter-assemble organization newsletter
Article VII: Meetings
General meetings will be held bi-monthly on the fourth Tuesday of the months of January, March, May, July and September. November meeting is held the second Tuesday of that month. Meetings are held at the Roberts Recreation Center located at 1245 50th Ave N and begin at 7pm.
Article VIII: Association Funds
Any EHNA sponsored fundraising shall be approved by the Board of Directors and shall not violate any city, county, state, or federal statute or law. Donations are accepted. If the EHNA should agree to dissolve, any remaining funds will be donated to Roberts Recreation Center or TASCO
