a group of neighbors met informally to discuss various topics

Organization of group

officers for the organization, only for title through the state requirements
switch to board? 5 or 7 members
all members will be committee chairs to distribute planning tasks more evenly
possible committees (events, welcome, crime, newsletter, social dinners, communication/website)

Informal Potlucks

hold as a way of gathering neighbors without the stigma of rules and a “meeting”
food provided by attendees, possible to have restaurants sponsor?
members would be eligible for raffles

concerns-if group is too casual it will not be cohesive
speakers at meetings draw people there

Communication

need to figure out a way to best spread the word about the events
bulk mailout
flyer delivery

target specific streets to get phone numbers and email addresses
hold up signs to advertise during peak traffic hours

prepare an email for all contacts to let them know of new changes and if they have comments, Need responses from email by 3/12 to post new bylaws on website and if there will be a march meeting
