To keep St. Petersburg a great place to live, learn, work and play: Report violations in our neighborhood. Use Action Online to report code violations through the City’s web site, or telephone the Codes Compliance Assistance office at 727-893-7373.
I was able to meet with Mayor Baker this morning to discuss our neighborhood concerns and projects. I expressed our concerns for better communication from the police department. Our excitement for the completion of the new Roberts Center. Our plans for a outdoor yard sale - bazaar in the green space on 52nd Avenue N and 9th Street. As well as information on how to proceed with neighborhood grant qualification. I'm hoping through our volunteer efforts we can receive matching grant monies from the city to proceed with neighborhood signage.
This information is being posted to inform our neighbors of a rise in burglaries this year.
Please be on the lookout for anything suspicious and do not hesitate to call…

Thanks to Frank Lacy, Park Operations Foreman for the City we now have trash receptacles and mutt mitts in both green spaces on 52nd Avenue North between 12th and 9th Streets.
Euclid Heights Neighborhood Association
Regular Monthly Meeting
January 22, 2007
The association met at the First Alliance Church, 5000 10th St. N. St. Petersburg at 7:00pm. Those in attendance: President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary, plus 10 members and 2 guests.
Early Saturday morning, a few residents got together to clean up the green space on 52nd Ave between 12th & 9th Streets. Some interesting items we found: torn pages from The Swiss Family Robinson, 3 baby ballyhoos (perhaps left over bait?), and a pair of pants. Thanks to everyone who participated! If you know of an area in the neighborhood that needs help - leave a comment and let us know...
We will be moving to our new home, The Roberts Center! We were able to tour the facility and it will be ready. What an awesome place!!!
TENTATIVE AGENDA...
Recap the installation of the new mutt mitts and trash receptacles in the green space on 52nd Avenue North. Also, discuss the progress of the Traffic Plan as speed humps are starting to be implemented.
Discuss newsletter creation. Distribution of demographic and advertising information sheet. Start newsletter committee. We currently have had 2 inquires for advertising.
Thank You to everyone for the great job! We put together 20 good cheer baskets for our neighbors this year. A very special thank you to Representative Bill Heller and his assistant Jimmie Day for their help and support in gathering donations.
Michael Frederick, Mananger of Neighborhood Transportation for the City of St. Petersburg assures us our speed bumps, stop signs and edge line painting will go ahead as planned. Micheal says, "Normally the program starts in November, however with additional priorities this year, crews will not be starting until December."
I would like to say thank you once again to everyone who participated in making our Traffic Plan a reality!
****UPDATE 01/23/2008 A city crew is painting lines in preparation of the 4 way stop at the corner of 50th Ave N and 12 St N.
District 52 Florida House Representative Bill Heller will host an open house to help collect items for our Good Cheer Basket Give Away. Stop by and donate items or just to say hello!
