Noise Free Florida

Letter to the President from Lakewood Estates Civic Association.

Dear Neighborhood Association President,

Many of you know me as the president of Lakewood Estates Civic Association and many of you also know that I wear another hat - as local representative of Noise Free Florida, a non-profit organization working to reduce unnecessary noisee in our city.

If you were at the CONA meeting on February 20th, you probably know about the soft letter program and you may have already received a supply of the post cards for that program. For those of you who were not there or who would like more information please note:

Euclid Heights Neighborhood Crime Watch Group

04/30/2008 - 7:00pm
04/30/2008 - 8:00pm

In recent months, we have had a rash of burglaries in our neighborhood. Though a majority of the cases remain open, one burglar was apprehended and sentenced to jail. This is only one example where the cooperation of citizens and the police can get a major threat off the streets, but it does not stop there. We need a proactive force to reduce crime in our area and keep it out!

Coordinating the Initial Crime Watch Meeting

Hi Neighbors! I am currently working on setting up the intial crime watch meeting for the Euclid Heights Neighborhood Association. The meeting will be held at the Roberts Center - date to be determined. I've left a message with Officer Johnny Harris - our St. Pete Police Neighborhood Crime Watch Officer. Once we figure out his availability, we can schedule the meeting. If you'd like to attend, please send me your contact information at carrie@euclidheights.org. Check back soon for more details...
